Why is disinfecting an important part of the process?
It’s not a simple matter of just wiping up liquid; the entire procedure involvesinspection, waterremoval, drying and dehumidification, cleaning (purifying) and restoration.
This is why sanitizing is so important:
When you have a flood or leak standing (sometimes it can happen when you aren’t home,and the water will stand for days) it becomes the perfect environment for mold to start growing and that only takes about 12 hours.
Not only does mold need moisture, but it also needs “food” and, since it is now most likely contaminated with dirt and bacteria, that becomes mold's "food"--then you'll have a smell in the house you'll never get rid of, as well as runny eyes, a cough, and other respiratory problems.
